The Dalgona Game

Make it. Shape it. Don't Break it.

What you need

  • 2 tin boxes
  • 2 needles
  • 1 wooden stir stick
  • 2 cookie cutters
  • Parchment paper

From home

  •  Sugar
  • Baking soda
  • Pan + stove

Before you start
Can’t decide who gets which shape?
Rock · Paper · Scissors.
The winner chooses first.

Make the dalgona (2 candies)


1.    Lay the parchment paper on a flat surface.
2.    Add 2 tbsp sugar to a pan (1 each).
3.    Heat on a low flame till it melts and turns golden.
4.    Turn off the heat.
5.    Add a tiny pinch of baking soda.
6.    Stir with the wooden stick — it will puff up fast.

Shape it

7.    Split the mixture into two portions.
8.    Pour onto parchment paper.
9.    Press a cookie cutter on each.
10.    Let them set.

The challenge


11.    Place each dalgona in a tin box.
12.    Use the needle to trace the shape.

✔️ Shape intact = win
❌ Broken = your turn is over

Bragging rights are valid.
