Refund policy

At Mokkoji, we put a lot of care into designing, selecting, and packing each product. As a small, growing brand, we follow a limited return and refund policy outlined below.

Please read this policy carefully before placing an order.


When are returns & refunds accepted?

1. Damaged product on arrival
If your product arrives damaged, defective, or broken, we will offer a replacement or refund at our discretion.

2. Wrong item received
If we shipped the wrong product, we will send the correct item and cover the return shipping cost in full.

3. Exchange for change of mind
We offer exchanges within 7 days of delivery. The item must be unused and in original packaging. Return shipping (₹200–300) is at the customer's cost. Cash refunds are not available for change of mind — store credit or exchange only.


What is NOT eligible for return or refund?

  • Personal preference or unmet expectations
  • Used, altered, or damaged after delivery
  • Requests raised after the reporting window
  • Items purchased on sale or with a discount code
  • Used or opened candles

As a startup brand, we are currently unable to support refunds for reasons other than damage or wrong items.


COD Orders
COD orders are eligible for exchange or store credit only. Cash refunds are not available on COD orders under any circumstances.

Refused Deliveries
Orders refused at the doorstep without prior cancellation will not be refunded in cash. Store credit will be issued, minus forward and return shipping costs (₹400–600). COD orders refused at delivery are not eligible for any credit or refund. Customers who refuse deliveries will be permanently blocked from placing future COD orders on Mokkoji.


Warranty
The Nurbit candle warmer lamp and the Yeon desk lamp carry a 6-month warranty on the lamp unit. Bulbs are not covered.


How to report a damaged or wrong item

Please include:

  • Your Order ID
  • Clear photos of the product and packaging
  • A short unboxing video if possible

Reporting window: within 48 hours of delivery.


Refund Process

Once your request is verified and approved, we will notify you within 2–3 business days. Approved cases will receive either:

  • A replacement (for damaged or wrong items)
  • Store credit (valid for 6 months on mokkoji.in)

No cash refunds are issued.

In case of any resolutions approved by Saral Agarwal HUF, store credit will be issued within 15 business days of approval.

  • Mokkoji reserves the right to decline requests that do not meet policy conditions
